Lets get started with an introduction first. Why dont you tell us something about yourself and the story of MahaDAO.

Sure,

My name is Pranay Sanghavi, and I’m the CoFounder — handling the business, ecosystem strategy and investment side of things in MahaDAO.

A quick background: I started my first company when I was 19 while in college, in telecom & networking space. Setup 9 sites in Mumbai with over 7000+ business customers and exited all of them within a period ~3 years. I have close to 20 years serial entrepreneurship experience starting, advising and scaling up multi-million dollar enterprise including Fortune 500 Corporates in Information and Communications Technology Businesses.

The idea of what MahaDAO is today has been cooking at our labs for more than a couple of years now

As you know most or all fiat currencies are self-depreciatory in itself.

The fact that what could buy you a radio-set in the 70s can barely buy you a cup of coffee today is not just alarming but at the same time concerning. That goes on to show that we have created an inefficient system that thrives on the very idea of inflation.

The erosion of value of currencies that only seem stable made us create MahaDAO and ARTH to attain security through global norms and correct this systemic flow in our current economy.

What makes ARTH different than other stablecoins? More specifically, what exactly is a stablecoin?

A stablecoin is a coin that is stable to particular value like the USD dollar; so a stablecoin makes it easier to pay in dollars unlike something volatile like bitcoin

What makes ARTH different is simply this:

Pranay Sanghavi:
Unlike stablecoins which are pegged to the US dollar, the world’s first valuecoin ARTH is pegged to Arth Global Measurement Unit (GMU),

Arth Global Measurement Unit (GMU) a basket of uncorrelated assets in the ARTH vault, and maintains (and even appreciates) its purchasing power regardless of wider market movements.

1 cup of coffee today = 5$ or 5 ARTH

but take 10 years down the line

1 cup of coffee in 2031 = 10$ but will still be worth 5 ARTH

because ARTH keeps it’s buying power over time even after accounting for inflaiton

Sounds very easy to understand and thanks for the coffee analogy, really illustrated the product well.

What about ARTH Loans? What is it? When is it launching?

ARTH loans is the second product of the MahaDAO and it allows users to take loans similar to MakerDAO Vaults

It is launching tom along with pools with CosmicSwap tom 🙂

Super excited, hoping for a smooth launch and integration 🤞

What does the MahaDAO — CosmicSwap integration entail? How do you think both communities will benefit from the Yield Farming pools

Absolutely the goal is very simple; As liquidity grows, the ARTH stablecoin becomes more liquid and CosmicSwap also gets more volume and liquidity as well through this integration.

There’s going to be integrations with 1inch APIs so you’ll find a lot of volume coming into Cosmic pools as well from MahaDAO

Also importantly — the CosmicSwap community will now be empowered with a tool to fight the ravages of inflation

Azure:
These type of partnerships always work really well, easy to understand for everyone and a simple use case

Are there any other pools you have planned post launch?

yes we start off with three pools first

- ARTH/MAHA
- ARTH/USDC
- ARTH/COSMIC

LPs that deposit into these pools get rewards but also LPs of ARTH/COSMIC will get a special NFT drop as well

As we move on there will be more pools especially stablecoin pools since they are very low risk

Is there any plans for COSMIC/ARTH LP providers?

Ooh I’m super excited for the NFT. They’ve been a huge hit recently

What next? Are there any further products pipelined after the ARTH Loans launch on August 15?

Yes; post aug 15th there is an exciting “leveraged yield farming” protocol (called as Mahalend) launching on September for which we will integrate some Cosmic pools as well; so that means liquidity will continue to moonshot as this product and integration goes live

so a lot of stuff coming in soon

Why dont we start with a quick introduction about yourself @AzureDev?

Tell us more about CosmicSwap and the story behind it

Azure:
I’m Azure and I’m the founder of CosmicSwap. I am from a Computer Science background and have a passion in everything blockchain and started my journey into DeFi last cycle.

The purpose of CosmicSwap was to bring something new and unique to DeFi backed by a strong roadmap and tokenomics. Another member of the team is @pp_omega, he’s the operation manager of CosmicSwap and deals with a wide range of issues that might come up with the project and works directly with me. As for everyone that has or currently works with us, they are interviewed by me to work on specific parts of the project. We don’t have any full time employees, apart from me ;p.

Not so much a one man army but rather a one community army

Could you tell us how CosmicSwap is different from all the other yield farming projects out there?

Azure:
To put it simply, we’re a farming protocol setup on bsc and polygon. We are building our platform with a sustainable farm approach aiming to attract users with relatively high APRs while also maintaining the stability of the project. We’ve successfully launched our voting, lottery and bridge to add more utility to our token and have more planned in the coming weeks. We’re a relatively small team so we end up building a better connection with our community and engage them more to the project.

Unlike other yield farm cosmic aims to be providing sustainable farming products to our community and with our upcoming major token utility this will prove to be very beneficial for the holders. We have built more and worked with more projects that any farm we’ve come across with multiple partnerships and pools. Our sustainability plan is also very important to us as we always abide by it and continue to use to innovate our product. Sustainability and stability are great pillars to build your project on. I’m sure Cosmic has a long way ahead

You mentioned BSC and Polygon. Which chain did you opt first?

Azure:
We started off on BSC and had a huge launch, we launched the same day the markets crashed, I don’t want to say cosmic caused it, but the evidence is all there 😩

Gafoor K:

So you went from BSC to Polygon?

Azure:
Yes we did

Gafoor K:
What brings you guys over from BSC to Polygon?

Azure:
Great question, we wanted to expand and cover a larger market so we shifted on to polygon since it was becoming the major place for Yield farms and DeFi projects. We have had great success on both BSC and polygon and hope to expand further on the Cosmos on other chains. We’ll be holding a poll in the coming days to see which chain is popular within our community so that we can explore the other chains. What does the integration with MahaDAO mean to Cosmic? And how is it going to benefit both, the MAHA and Cosmic community?

Azure:
As Steven said in our AMA in our telegram group, we will be providing the pools to the Maha community. The first pools to launch will be:

- COSMIC/ARTH
- ARTH/USDC
- ARTH/MAHA

On top of that, we’ll be giving away a nice NFT for all the COSMIC/ARTH LP providers that will be airdropped to everyone that has participated in the pool.

We’re happy integrating with projects with a future and a vision that resonates with our Cosmic community.

Let’s get going on more about CosmicSwap

Apart from Yield Farming, do you guys have any plans to expand into other areas of DeFi?

Azure:
We have a lot of plans, some might say too many. We are currently working on perfecting our lottery system which has experienced some problems along the way. We have a new UI which is currently in the workings that will include a brand new fresh design that with a lot of capabilities to allow us for further growth for the following plans:
- Vaults
- Cross Chain voting
- Games
- Bridge improvements
- Project launchpad
- and much more.

We don’t want to be too ambitious and promise more than we can chew, so we’ll start with those features and see how the community responds to them, if they like it then we can continue adding more features or ideas that they vote for. We are more community driven and love to give our community a say into all our decisions.

There’s nothing like “too many” plans in crypto

What is the next big thing cosmic is working on and a little sneak peak on it

saving it right away, ser!

Azure:
The next thing for CosmicSwap will be 2 new partherships with some exciting and interesting projects. We will also have the new UI and new features coming along with the new UI. We want to start huge campaigns of marketing led by our community and become something more on new chains and our existing chains. We are also thinking of implementing our very own CosmicPad and our own stablecoin, so stay tuned to find out more.
